First of all, let me tell you that I too am a well educated, professional male who is not overweight and who has been around the block perhaps more times than necessary. Many would consider me very desirable based on the usual metric but like most, I have my own foibles. I think that what Mike said resonates with all of the quality guys on here. The first question you must ask yourself is Why has someone chosen to look on CL, rather than in one of the more traditional venues ?. I would venture to guess that nine times out of nine there is a reason. The next question you must ask yourself is Why have I chosen to look on CL rather than in one of the more traditional venues ?. I am sure that the statistic is practically the same. Now I know that many of you are going to say that your choices are less limited than in other venues, but I would posit that the case is actually the opposite. While it is true that CL offers somewhat more diversity and access, the primary benefits that sets CL apart from the rest of the world are privacy and anonymity. I do not mean to downplay the significance and the importance, given the situation of those attributes, but it is important to understand what we are dealing with here in order to understand what's happening. So..... what I would propose is that the sane people who post on here put up as much information as they are reasonably comfortable with. They should then use the valuable attributes which CL affords them to help them screen the responses before going to the next level. That, ladies and gentlemen, is how mature adults behave. It is always important to remember that YOUR computer has a delete button. Use it judiciously. It is also very valuable. SOOOOO..... that's my story and I'm sticking to it. Ciao,
