Hello and thanks for stopping to read my post. With the days getting cooler and nights getting longer I have been thinking how nice it would be to have someone to snuggle with in front of a fire, to go walking bundled up on the beach or hiking out in the country. Everything is better when you start as friends. I do not care for the bar scene and have tried some dating sites with little luck. While I don't think I am asking for the world I am looking to make my world better. I hope to find a man who is honest, intelligent, successful in what he does for an occupation, wickedly funny, creative and compassionate. Some one who knows when I really need a shoulder or when I just need to be alone and is secure enough to not be bothered by the fact that I need that alone time. If you have children, great! I have two great older teens, a wonderful son in law and a beautiful granddaughter so any children you have would be more than welcome. I love to go to comedy clubs, on spontaneous road trips with no particular destination in mind, concerts, plays. I am looking for the kind of peaceful relationship where you can sit in a room reading and just be happy that the other is around someplace doing what they like. I am not interested in married or attached men or any race outside of mine. I am a happily separated white female, 5'3, 135 pounds, blue eyes, auburn hair and fair Irish skin.
