I'm in my earlier forties. I'm divorced and learned the meaning of once bitten, twice shy. I've learned forgiveness and not taking things too seriously. I've learned accepting others as they are and that this is so much easier than trying to mold a grown person...that's for child rearing, not adult relationships. But I'm still idealistic when it comes to sensuality and romance. Maybe it's uncool but I'm monogamous and wise enough to know that when it's right, it's anything but boring or routine. What could be more creative that reinventing who you are with each other over and over again? It's easy to be new when you're always with someone new, but it's far more rewarding to reap the benefits of a sensual, romantic relationship over time than it is to find a groove with the next flavor of the month. If any of this strikes a chord with you I did refer to music and songs in the title after all, and you're single... Single, that doesn't mean simply unmarried, it means unencumbered...then I'd love to hear from you. October is a glorious month of balmy afternoons and snuggle worthy nights. No one understands better than I do how many duds there are on chirrup, but once in a while, you find a needle in a haystack...what do any of us who read these really have to lose? If we were fulfilled...we wouldn't be here writing or reading these, would we?
